Our family has been instrumental in developing the local tourism industry, and has been a part of the land that is now the Ozark National Scenic Riverways for generations. The three generations before us ran canoe rentals and campgrounds for the entirety of their lives. During our life time we have seen our mother, father, grandmother, and grandfather work tirelessly to protect and preserve the land they love in and around the Ozark National Scenic Riverways, and strive to share it with as many people as possible.
In January of 2022, we suffered devastating loss. Our grandmother had been gone from this world for almost exactly 4 years when COVID-19 struck our family and we lost our father and grandfather, only 3 days apart. With our mother not in the greatest of health, and two of the four of us siblings out in the world with their own jobs and families, there was some emergency "growing up" to be done.
In March of 2023, the National Park Service terminated our contracts to be concessionaires within the Ozark National Scenic Riverways. This wasn't what any of us wanted, but has given us time to focus our energy on our campgrounds, instead of trying to focus on several things at once.
We realize that as the health of our family declined, so did the condition of our campgrounds. We are striving every day to maintain and improve our facilities! We sincerely hope that you'll give us a chance, come check us out, and thoroughly enjoy your stay with us. Please use the pages in the menu to learn about each campground and what we have to offer. We do welcome feedback, and customer service is our highest priority! To make a reservation at either campground, please call 573-229-2206.
Thank you!
