Jason Place Campground is located 2.5 miles up KK Highway from the Current River at Akers! We are nestled in the Ozark Mountains roughly halfway between Salem and Eminence. We offer three noise levels of camping, a general store, pool, and volleyball court! We also have a few cabins for rent. We have super secluded primitive sites, all the way to 50amp sites with electric and water. We do NOT currently offer sewer hook-ups at Jason Place, but do have a dump station on the premises. We are equipped to handle all group sizes, from single folks looking to get away in nature, to large groups of any kind. We have a shower and restroom facility in each section of the campground. Several of our sites are flat, grassy, and shady. Due to the nature of our location in our beloved Ozarks, you are however likely to find a rock or a sloped spot in your campsite! Our staff are well trained and familiar with the campground and do their best to place each group with the perfect site for their specific needs at both our locations!
Super-Quiet Camping
Our super-quiet section is across Highway KK from the main campground. This is where most of our customers go to find peace and seclusion on their vacation! Quiet Hours are 8PM-8AM.
Quiet Camping
This is the area most of our guests are familiar with. "Up-top" as we call it, near the store and pool. Best suited to families, youth groups, and the average camper. This is where all of our RV sites are located. Quiet Hours are 10PM-6AM
"Happy Hollow"
Staying true to our roots, we know people like to "party in the holler"! We do NOT enforce quiet hours in this area of our campground. We do not recommend taking small cars into the hollow, as the roads to get there are privately maintained and in the Ozarks. (Read as "there might be some big rocks!")
Cabins
Our cabins are predominately former homes of people from the area. They are older, and high on our list of things to "spiff-up". That being said, they are dry, safe, and CLEAN!! They're not the Marriott, but work just fine for folks who are used to camping, but prefer a real kitchen, real restroom, and air-conditioning!
